Transformation Not Treatment
The biggest difference between our model and a traditional recovery center is our focus on Christ. Our programs depend on the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word to provide our students with direction. Treatment is important, but transformation is key.
Discipleship & Evangelism
Through our Bible-based curriculum, students learn how to apply God’s Word to their lives. They also learn to recognize the Holy Spirit’s work in their lives, and how to invite God to help them overcome their life-controlling problems, and become more like Christ.
Residential Mentoring
Our residential programs run 12-18 months (6 minimum if re-entry), and provide students opportunity to confront destructive choices, behaviors, & unhealthy mindsets, and establish a new, transformed lifestyle based on God’s mercy and Biblical principles.

In a day when alcohol and drug abuse have crossed every geographic, economic, and cultural barrier, Adult and Teen Challenge Northern Indiana is a beacon of hope where freedom can be found. Every day, around the world, God’s love and forgiveness is transforming lives from the inside out! ATCNI is a 12-18 month residential program (6 months minimum, if re-entry) serving men 18+ years old with the goal of transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word.

I started using drugs when I was 11 years old. I wanted to get noticed and this was a way to try to be cool. Unfortunately, that led to an 18-year cycle of drug addiction that consumed me and left me homeless. When I came to Adult & Teen Challenge, I felt broken and beaten down. But, I eventually surrendered my life completely. Things happened that left my daughter in state custody, and I was devastated. But now I knew the Author of Peace, and I was overtaken by the love and grace of my Saviour. Jesus truly comforted me with an everlasting peace. He began making a way for me to get my daughter back, even when there seemed to be no way. People around me supported me with prayer and eventually, the courts allowed my daughter to come live with my dad and step-mom. I am now married, and I get to be the father that I was meant to be for my kids. The Lord has blessed me with so much that the devil tried to steal from me.
